Ukodhiko Attends Funeral of Late Mrs. Eto Comfort
The member representing Isoko North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Jonathan Ajirioghene Ukodhiko, on Saturday, attended the funeral ceremony of Late Mrs. Eto Comfort Eyaviejo, mother of Hon. James Enahoro Eto, former PDP Chairman of Oleh Ward 2 and now a notable APC chieftain in Isoko.
The solemn yet colourful event, held in Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of Delta State, brought together political leaders, community figures, and friends from different political divides to celebrate the life of the late matriarch, who was described as a devoted mother, a virtuous woman, and a lover of peace.
Rep. Ukodhiko, who was warmly received by Hon. Eto and family members, commiserated with them, urging them to take solace in the fact that their mother lived a fulfilled life worthy of emulation.
He noted that the deceased left behind a legacy of kindness, service to humanity, and strong moral values which should continue to inspire the younger generation.
Dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Jude Ogbimi, Chairman of Delta State Mortgage Bank; High Chief Idu Amadhe, Chairman, Board of Trustees of Isoko Development Union (IDU); Pastor Sunday Elueni; Engr. Peter Odunwa, APC Chieftain; Amb. Efenudu Orevaoghene, Special Assistant to the Governor; and Hon. Jerry Obi, among several others.
The funeral, which featured moments of prayers, music, and tributes, reflected the unity and mutual respect that cut across political lines, underscoring the exemplary character of the late Mrs. Eto Comfort and her family.
